Agree totally.  If Baze commands $20per, just let him go.  Didn't hurt the Blazers last year.  Just move forward with your young guys, support and develop them.  Karma will be kind to us.

@NBASupes surely you don't blame the Hawks brass for other organizations' desperation-pays?  We're talking about such well-run teams like the Nix and Pels after all.

Lastly, if Bazemore gets that much, can we just fast forward to the next lockout?

Yeah, the POR model would be great.

We need a Lillard star 1st. Heck, even a McCollum 1st.

It's easy to retool around your young star. We need to draft him.

Dennis is a good start. He got a solid ceiling.

Dennis game is based around the PnR. Who do we who is consistently even just good at it other than  Al? Sap is so so. Dwight don't even consistently like setting screens. Mike Scott? Nope. Moose? Lol

THJr in his 2nd year at Hawks University still on a rookie contract is sounding mighty good right about now.

We definitely have the right staff for his continued improvement and a shooting coach that still gets minutes on the floor as well.

THJs end of regular season stats after having a really, really rough start. Last quarter of the year his numbers had to be a good deal higher than those to end where they did. He did improve during the season to end up where he did. Lets see his second year in Atlanta performance.

FG  .43 percent  Three Point  .338 per cent   Foul Line .893 per cent

(Harden has fingers crossed behind his back, and is thinking, "Maybe once or twice a game.")
