Why would he come here considering we're not on the cusp of a title?  Money isn't a major motivation for him.  He just doesn't want to be completely low-balled like the Heat (apparently) are doing (which they should be doing IMO).  If he's going to move on, he'll be looking to chase rang(s).  Nothing less.

Yeah, if he is going to take a pay cut it will be somewhere that he has a large role and contending for a championship ...

If we signed him and Al are we title contenders?

They have 45 million in cap and will use 24 of it on Parsons if he signs. That's 21 for Dwight or even less since they have Crabbe cap hold. Not worried. We need to get Dwight just to have a chance at other deals.

Jefferson is not the player he was 5 years ago and its cool that he understands that and his value.  He will help tighten up their bench and give them some good post scoring from there

funny to say the most reasonable contracts I've seen have been Jordan Clarkson and Al Jefferson's.... But they're both making 10+ mil

They're not going to do anything.. Time after time mangement has dragged their feet and are the last to get something done .

Very nice deal for Jefferson.  Look for Joe Johnson to get a similar deal, if not more.
