Serious stat line last night. Al of four or five years ago. Still not ever going to pull for him with the Green but am glad he is physically ok. Never going to wish for an injury on folks. That said I hope they start on a healthy losing streak the very next game.

It was a great game by Al but watching his points they were all on total defensive breakdowns.   And not to belittle his play but if marcus smart doesn't jet pack from the 3 point line to tip that rebound then the game is over.     Not in the video is a nice block on the pistons final shot attempt.

Al had another decent stat line but he and his teammates were out rebounded by double digits by a four win team. Towns and Dieng had twenty eight rebounds between them for the T-Wolves. So kinda has the same look he had here with some assists and blocks but just six rebounds so even though they won the game its probably not the right recipe long term. The playoffs that is.

Come on.  Al had a whole 2 defensive rebounds.  He owned them in the paint.

Looks like embarrasing Al in the news is the way to get him to play hard. Twenty six and eight last night. Guess that angry journalist is really on to something.

I can say it now, but in those closing seconds of the biggest play of his natural life (the ultra-ironic offensive rebound and lay-in, after running in from 20 feet out against the Wizards), I was dead certain Al was gonna blow that putback. Because Atlanta sports.

The embarrassing thing about this is that little Isaiah grabs his guy by the arm and pulls him to the floor to open a lane for Horford to drive and the refs don't care.   This isn't a missed call or some borderline play.   It's the NBA/Celtics and it's bullshit.   Watch it and get a good feel for it because this is how the Celtics will advance in the playoffs.

So when Boston fans get on Al's case about rebounding he apparently listens some. Two games in a row with double digit boards. Guess Hawk fans just aren't mean enough or threatening enough to have moved the needle for him. Anyway, even with Jeff scoring over thirty Boston still took the game.
