Official Game Thread: Knicks "at" Hawks

It shouldn’t take injuries and ailments for Mike Budenholzer to recognize there are other players down on the bench at his disposal. ..................

Even with Hardaway unavailable, Taurean Prince subs in for the first time during that quarter for Kyle Korver with Atlanta down 94-66, and together with Humphries the Hawks begin cutting the Wolves’ deficit in half, even while Towns and Zach LaVine were still in the game.

Budenholzer is supposed to know his personnel well enough to pull the plug and switch things up, well before games like this get out of hand. .....

The Hawks coach’s persistence in not adjusting game plans and personnel is eroding consumer confidence in not only his product, but his means of production. If (when) the Hawks on the floor revert to that head-buried-in-sand mode again tonight, we’ll see whether Coach Bud has learned anything from the fourth quarter in Minnesota.

Melo at the end of the celtics game was embarrassing.

George Karl is a little, no make that a big, sh!t.   He's been running his mouth since his Bucks days and needs to stop.

Phil is quickly becoming a parody of himself and tarnishing his legacy.

That said, let's beat these dorks.

Great game preview lw3! I hope we get them tonight because they still suck in my opinion.

Lol...George Karl is seriously going too far...some of us have bad days or even weeks but this lil hooker Karl needs to chill. Lol. He's almost trying to get socked in the face. Lol

LETS GO HAWKKKKKIES!!!!

So with Dwight and a few minutes from Kris we are winning the battle on the glass. Hope this eye test stirs the obvious for Bud.

At the end of the game it was just one rebound different. Quite different from where we were at at the end of the third but what the hey, we won tonight.

Feeling every second of my age right now. Not so pretty wins on the court are still really pretty wins on paper.  Our shooting is still rough but I'll gladly take the win. Thank you Sap, Thabo and Dennis for the close out! A really long game tonight.

A W is always nice but can you say uuuuugly?  We had:

-Melo leave early

-Some calls actually go in our favor

-Brandon Jennings gifting us with horrible plays

-Late tech on Hornacek

-Rose miss shot after shot and make some bad decisions

And we barely eke out one in OT at home.....

Melo saved us. We can't handle good shooters and with him out, Porzingis was the only real threat beyond the arc.

On top of that we just don't have a real outside threat of our own. If they blanket Kyle enough we have no other option on the wing to make a 3.

Yeah, Kyle was the only guy we had to hit more than one three. Its painful from out there.

3?  What about a couple of 2's from the brick mason himself Millsap?

Two things were obvious tonight. If Millsap is struggling....

1. There's no offense on the floor outside of shooting jumpers with Dennis off the floor.
2. With Dennis on the floor, the offense that was being created looked better, but looks that have to go down were not going down enough.
