And now Love is out 6 weeks and Toronto trades for Ibaka. 

The East is as wide open as its been in a several years.  If the Hawks screw around and do nothing and then the freaking C's go on to win the East y'all may be seeing me on the news down at Phillips one day.  Damn.

Budz is a great coach.  Had him in SA.  They will find a way to win.  They'll make it through the first round, maybe even through the 2nd.  The question becomes, do they have enough to go further than that?  No, not unless they add someone.  I just don't know how much they have left as far as trade-bait to upgrade.

That's dead on except i can't see us getting past the 2nd round.   There again everyone in the east is struggling a bit except the Celtics who I don't respect anyway.   

But the trade-bait is the real issue.   Expirings and bad bench players and 2nd round picks.
