That's nothing new.  Anyways, I think the Warriors paid him simply to honor their verbal agreement.  I think it was a good move.  Don't want any odd situations out there which could paint them in a negative light with agents.

Had they just not paid him and said, "Eh, we didn't sign nuthin.  Kick rocks."  Now you got Calderon and his agents out there saying GState doesn't honor their word.
