Sam Mitchell ( former Toronto and Minnesota coach ) just spent 2 minutes on SiriusXM NBA Radio glowing about Calderon, calling him "the best leader I've ever coached".   Says his teammates always loved him and would run through a brick wall for him.

Also said if something happened to Dennis, he could step right in and lead.

Leadership + borderline elite 3 point shooting added to the team.  Doesn't sound like a 15th man to me.

Oh no doubt. The late 2000's (2007-2012) was great. Just hope he can give us a solid 10-15mpg.

Just a solid floor leader ... he can't defend and he is not the player he was 5 - 6 years ago but he still has a high bbiq.  Just go in for a few minutes here and there and play smart bball.

Nice, I always liked Jose. Solid shooting and very high BBIQ should make up for his lack of D. Sort of a compensation for losing out on DWill, but still way better thatn Delaney.
