Coach Bud

This nine man rotation is really going to cause severe fatigue to Sap by the playoffs pretty sure. Ersan has been a good help at PF but at some point Bud is going to need to get over his deal about Kris and at least give him  a handful of minutes at C. Do we really want a gassed Sap while struggling down the stretch of our season or him having little left in the playoffs? Sap just doesn't need to play a lot of minutes against centers.

Ersan and Hump together would mean some good hard fouls on the other team too.

Nothing wrong with a little MMA here and there.

This must sound hilarious to a non Hawks or bball fan. Sounds like a couple new badass characters on Sesame Street that'll give the kids some nightmares. Lol.

This is about Bud's ex assistant coach getting everything he can out of his defense. Quin is really doing it with the D we used to display much more often. On the other side of the coin we have beaten all those teams this year as well except for the Clippers.

Utah is now 42-25. They allow (by far) the fewest PPG in the NBA and are 3rd in D efficiency. They've defeated CLE, SAS, HOU (2x), WAS, LAC.

They are also 11th in the league in 3 point % and have 4 rotation players shooting 40%+.   Whereas the only players we have shooting over 40% are Illy, Dunleavey, Korver, Moose.

Outside of Ersan our best shooting rotation player is Tim at 36%

Which is why Dwight's offensive rebounding is important to this team.   When guys start shooting bricks, you better get extra possessions.

In the playoffs against the Cavs the rotation of Dwight and Kris as opposed to Al and Kris would have at the very least extended the series. Missed rebounds and cold as a wedge from distance late in games is so stuck in my memory from then.
