Where are all the offers for Millsap?

I just want a SNT that helps us. No Plumlee contacts. It's sad (because we didn't draft him), but I think Sap has better intentions to leave us with something opposed to Whoreford when he left. It has to be worthwhile for both parties though.

Chandler 30 yrs and Faried 27 yrs are bums.  They have nothing to offer imo. That is not getting younger.

Not a fan of Faried at all but Chandler could be good trade bait for a team that is trying to win now. SFs that can shoot and play small ball PF are sought after in todays NBA.

Everything points to Paul Millsap not being in Atlanta. Atlanta isn't even mentioned as a suitor.

Doesn't matter if he prefers Atlanta, Atlanta wants to do a partial rebuild.

Yep. If Atlanta wanted Sap back, their names would have been attached to him at some point. It hasn't.

It's obvious they want to move on.

When has ANY Hawks move in recent years been reported on in advance or telegraphed in the media?

ALL of the Hawks moves recently always come out of left field with no warning. Tight-lipped group.

They'd be linked to him. That's not hidden from the Hawks management. Things like picks, and other changes have been.

Forget it. The Millsap era with the Hawks is over unless NO ONE picks him up.

No. ALL moves have been under the radar past few years. And ALL rumors never panned out. You've been paying attention, right?

I have. Horford while he didn't resign was linked to the Hawks.
Carroll was never seriously in play.
I knew that Millsap was being resigned two years ago because of the media.

It is not signings that are under the radar, it's everything else. Yes, forget it, unless the entire league passes on Millsap, he will not be an Atlanta Hawk next year.

So the media reported Whorefart was linked to the Hawks. You're making my point for me...

So, Phoenix is going all in on the youth movement, eh.  What exactly have they been doing since 2011?

Phoenix tried to compete. Remember Nash's final seasons with the team?Even after Nash moved on they tried to compete. Sarver was not trying to rebuild back then. They just never had a good enough roster to be a consistent playoff threat out west.

It actually makes sense to purposely go young now considering their core. Speeding up the youth movement would make no sense at this point.

That was several years ago. KB21 is right. Phoenix is now extending their rebuild from a 6 year program to a 10 year program. How's that working out for them? Especially when they screw up their draft picks, like Alex Len.

If Travis Schlenk simply follows the formula he has laid out (draft well, sign flexible contracts of value) then we will be on the upswing far sooner than lottery treadmill teams like Phoenix, Orlando, Sacramento, and even Philly.

What?  You dare to question the strategy of the great Sam Hinkie and his "Process" that is on going what, 5 years now?

Why are people still crying about a full rebuild when that isn't going to happen???? This team will be a win 25-30 games for a few years and then try to build back to being a worthless 45-50 win regular season team so that they came flame out in the first and second round like they've been doing for the last decade. And you know what? It will not mean shit just like the last decade hasn't meant shit. The 2nd longest playoff streak, but the Hawks are still viewed as the losers they are.
