Dwight's salary would have come off after next year. Plumlee will still be pulling down 12.5 Million the year after next. Ummm, the difference in $2mil and $12 mil cap hits next year compared to $23 mil +$30 +$18 mil is the definition of cap relief.

Going into his final season.. if he would have still trended 13/13... there would have been mad teams that would have wanted Dwight's contract and play and we could have made a trade. Just watch. However, NOBODY... wants Plumlee. I doubt that we will be able to trade his contract for a team searching for cap relief. Point still is... we did nothing to get value from our moves. Saying that we missed Cap Hell is Moot because we're not courting free agents with this tank lineup anyway. PB.. you're going to be forced to sit back and learn this lesson. We can have all the capspace in the world... unless we have an uber talented team, no free agent is going to want to be here. You see we didn't make Kyrie's list. He picked NY... NY... over us. That;s just the way it has always worked.

Dude you act as though the only functional players in the league are super stars...the league is filled with Millsap type players waiting for the right opportunity. IF this team is just a little worst than last years team.. that means that the talent added to this years team is not much different than last year. So back to the original question, if the talent is that good, why didn't we just keep last years team together, add this year's talent and been much better?? You're not trying to tell us that the difference maker is Plumlee are you? Exactly.
