One of my all time favorite players is Sam "The Man" Cassell. I took him in every fantasy draft I could at a reasonable spot; and would try and trade for him if I missed him. I loved his game, attitude, and think he is the most underrated point guard of his time.

Not stated but should have, even though there is a small % of fans who chase players and not teams; I think most, as you said, are fans of teams first. I do know of one such fan; and he is knowledgeable. A die hard Duke fan and also a born in Chicago; Bulls fan.

He has pulled for Durant in GSW and not OKC ever since the trade. I honestly do not know who he would pull for if the Bulls and Warriors met for a Championship.
