His playing time depends on the nightly match up. For a team like ours though, he could be the first rebounding big off the bench easily. Word was he became a deva, wanted more of the offense run for him - instead of doing what got him the big pay day to begin with. I'm more interested in the #14 pick than his actual on court play. I hear ya. Biggest difference is Noel has some genuine upside based on his youth. All those other vets had hit their peak upside five years ago. I want the draft to be here already! terrell
Yes I have. The Hawks need offense. Coach Pierce can teach em how to play team defense.. So give me Doncic,Bagley,MPJ(if he's 100%), or even Young at #3. I like Bamba and JJJ, but we can find a defender later on in the draft if need be.....Hell, just resign Dedmon if if possible, or bring in a mid level defender...Milsap was a defender. Josh/Al were defenders..Dwight was a defender. Carroll was a defender. etc............... Problem was, we've never had that go to guy when it mattered most. And no, JJ WAS NOT that dude either..Bagley,MPJ, Doncic, or Young(as a scorer and a facilitator), all have a chance to be that guy for us..I like Bamba and JJJ, dont get me wrong, but I didnt tank for no fkn Gobert, or Serge Ibaka. Im sorry. Not saying I want change my mind again before the draft. lol. So Id be happy with something like: #3 Doncic/Bags/MPJ/Young #19 Hueter/ZaireSmith/LonnieWalker #30 Jacob Evans/Josh Okobie #34 BPA

gurpilo
2 weeks for the draft and I still feel the same way #3 Bagley or Doncic #19 Lonnie Walker, Troy Brown, Zhaire Smith, Khyri Thomas, Donte DiVicenzo #30 mitchell Robinson, Diop, Holiday, Anfernee Simmons, okobo, Omari Spellman #34 Okogie, Frazier, Mccoy, Duval, Brunson... #14 would be intriguing pick... there is a clear top 13, all mocks. At 14 you have Robert Williams, but there is a decent chance Shai Alexander or Collin Sexton falls there, I would try to get the pick and draft BPA, you have a role player there, a potential starter. Atlsports
The hawks have to go MPJ imo. Everbody else has glaring weaknesses. bagley is a great floor and Motor guy runner but his offensive bag is limited. Jackson seems like a Great defender but hasn’t shown to be a great remounder and his offense is lacking somewhat. Donic lacks elite athleticism imo and will struggle to get past nba level talent on drives . Bamba isn’t Great athletically but he’s gonna get pushed around for his first 2-3 years until he adds more weight . He had a prettt low motor at times as well. MPJ needs to work on his handle and put on weight but when he does he’s KD all over again.

Buzzard
Not really but I have become less thrilled with the the bigs. Bagley and Doncic; are still top dogs for me. But my 2nd tier has changed to Porter Jr. and Young.

We can address the defense later! You not just gon run up on some offensive talent....everyone in the league can’t just score at will. So it’d be best if we go ahead and get the offensive weapon we be lacking since nique

Moderators AHF Posted June 13, 2018 Moderators Report Share Posted June 13, 2018 Still want Doncic. Where I've changed is less about liking anyone less but I've gotten more interested in some players that I initially wanted little to do with. This is really such an intriguing draft. We have to nail this pick.
Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted June 13, 2018 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 13, 2018 Boom or bust: ESPN's Draft Analytics model predicts top players in 2018 NBA draft Quote The best prospect in the 2018 NBA draft is not Deandre Ayton or Luka Doncic. It's Marvin Bagley III. That assertion is neither a scout's opinion nor a writer's hot take, but rather the conclusion of ESPN's Draft Analytics model, which has been expanded in 2018 to include more information than ever before. The former Arizona center and the Slovenian point guard are widely regarded as the primary candidates for the Suns' selection at the No. 1 spot, but the model -- based on a variety of criteria -- projects Bagley to have the best average early career of anyone in the class. It also believes Bagley has the best chance among this year's crop of playing at an All-Star level in his first five seasons. 2. Doncic 3. Ayton 4. JJJ 5. Brotha2ThaNite
Give me any of these players and I will be happy to ride with it. Michael Porter Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mo Bamba, or Trae Young I would love to see the Hawks draft Marvin Bagley, trade him to whomever pick Michael Porter Jr and pick up an extra 1st rd pick. I have a feeling now that Bagley will either go 1st or 2nd. If that's the case... I hope the Hawks take a shot on MPJ. I keep reading he has KD talent. Trae has Curry talent. I'm picking KD over Curry All Day! lol

That's good enough for me. He's down on Young though.
