Admin capstone21 Posted July 3, 2018 Admin Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 I like the Tyreke Evans to Indy. Good signing by them. MCW to Houston ... who cares he is now on his 6 team in 6 years. What a bust he turned out to be Jeff Green is a solid bench addition for Washington for minimum Avery Bradley signing shows the Clipps still want to compete
Moderators AHF Posted July 3, 2018 Moderators Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 Tyreke was really good last season. Will be interesting to see if he can replicate. Green for minimum is right price. Glad Clips are looking to be competitive!

Faried -or- Plumlee to go. Think Schlenk would consider absorbing Plumlee #2 for a DEN first?

I like it for the Sixers also if Chandler can have a decent healthy season. They need all the shooting they can get.
Admin capstone21 Posted July 3, 2018 Admin Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 Howard to Washington ... might be a good fit if he is finally willing to accept that he is now a role player and defensive rim protector

Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted July 3, 2018 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 HAWKS FREE AGENT UPDATE: Schlenk on local radio this morning: 1. Still sitting back - won't sign anyone until next week to fill out roster 2. Still want to use capspace to acquire bad salary for picks. Short term salary only. 3. Not actively shopping anyone but taking calls, mostly about our capspace. 4. Talked about youth of our roster, adding 3 picks this year, then hopefully things go as planned next year to add 3 more draft picks, then he'll be ready to 'push his chips in' to go after free agents. That's the plan, but he'll see how it shakes out.
nathan2331
I will say that Schlenk is setting us up to ball out in 2019 and 2020 free agency. I don't know who will actually want to sign here, but hopefully he's a better pitch man than trade negotiator.

That is an eyepopping contract for a guy who has done exactly nothing so far in the league. Odds are super good that he will produce fewer win shares next season than no less than a dozen minimum salary guys.
