Maybe the hardest thing to swallow is 27.8 million spent on players not on the roster (27.5% of the cap). This is where the majority of the cap room comes next year.

Because we "should" have 3 1st round picks next year, you can remove 3 players from the roster who won't be resigned next year. Also, 3 others will either be replaced or resigned to "bigger deals".

Players currently slated to be on the roster next year.

Bazemore - Player Option

Plumlee - 1 year remaining

Trae Young - Rookie deal

Alex Len - 1 year remaining

Taurean Prince - 1 year remaining rookie deal

John Collins - 2 years remaining rookie deal

Kevin Huerter - Rookie deal

Deandre Bembry - 1 year remaining

Omari Spellman - Rookie deal

3 incoming 1st round picks

--------------

Total 12 slots

Next year free agents

Jeremy Lin

Dewayne Dedmon

Justin Anderson

Vince Carter

Tyler Dorsey

Daniel Hamilton

Okay so look at the "potential free agents" and 3 of those are going away for sure.  Most probably Vince, Hamilton, Dedmon.

The other 3 are a balance of useful vs the $34 million ish that will be available (more for each pick that doesn't transfer). Lin, Anderson, Dorsey.

Of course all of that is null and void if Plumlee/Baze find new homes.

Is there some obscene hidden image on this jersey?  I'm not real good with those.

Guy has a point.  Might be greatest Hawk of all time. Never missed a shot, free throw or committed a foul.  Never got into legal trouble, tossed from a game or posted a playoff loss.  Have to think about this.

I declare myself the greatest Hawk of all-time because I didn't play for the team before him (and still don't to this day) and have the added bonus of costing $20M less and actually liking the team as a tie breaker.

So many atl haters out there.

I think it’s based on behavior. When I’m positive I seem to be able to hand them out easily the next day...if you come in grumpy ?, the system recognizes it and blocks ur likes.

ps @AHF wasn’t kidding I was able to give every post in here a like except for @kg01‘s post..what the..

We just ban likes for @kg01.  Try giving one to JayBird and you'll be good.

You're off my Kwanzaa list for good.
