Start of the regular season is 5 weeks away. Not sure he misses too much time.

Seems like regular season started 10/30 or 11/1 and camp started end of september.  Now the season starts middle of october but seems like camp still starts at the end of september.   Maybe I'm crazy.

Book'll miss preseason but oughta be ready to go by Week 1. How well his shooting hand shoots fresh off surgery remains to be seen.

When you add in the fact that Phoenix is still in meed of a PG and the plan was to use Booker in a James Hardenesque role, this just sets Ayton's development back.
