(Unfortunately, we had to leave at the end of the 3rd, the little one started feeling a little under the weather, when she placed her head in my lap, I could feel how hot she was, she didn'twant to leave. She's all tucked in bed with 101 Fever).

1. We got there right at the start of the Hawks Player Intros, we took Marta, I'm never driving to a game again, right off Marta straight into Gate 4.

2. I love the feel of the new place, just a different vibe.  Took us awhile to get to our seats since the sections are all renumbered. The Hawks bench is now on the opposite end of the court, that took some getting used to. Love the way you can still experience the game from the concourse. I didn't get to explore as much as I wanted since i got there later than planned.

3. Went to get something to eat with the kid. Left with just under 3 minutes in 1st quarter. It took forever. The game was on a screen there but no score was available. By the time we got back to seats it was 25-51 with about 8 minutes left in 2nd quarter. I couldn't believe the score. Then we went on a run to cut their lead to 10 at half time.

4. Then the game got good!!!

5. Got to my car from MARTA with 2:20 seconds left in game, Hawks up one. T'was a great drive home listening to Steve Holman and hearing our boys dig deep for that win!

6. The refs suck. They're sucking the life out of the flow of these games. It's so annoying.

7. Trae struggled early, but hit clutch freethrows when it mattered, Baze had the game of his life, Bembry filled the boxscore (16 rebounds, Wow), there wasn't enough ball and player movement to start the game, they weren't playing with pace either, Lin seems done, glad to have Dedmon back, I'm gonna really gonna like Huerter even more when he stops being gun shy and letting his shots fly, Prince with an efficient game. 26 point comeback Win!!

Both Doncic and Young are very exciting young talents.  The Hawks and Mavs have to be feeling pretty good about their top rookies 4 games into the year.

Atlanta fans have to let go of this insecurity complex where we can only feel good about ourselves because somebody else was “just as bad or worse”.

Trae has said it himself, why can’t they both succeed? 

We should want Doncic to play great but Trae to play even greater. Not the opposite “well Trae may have struggled but Doncic did too so it’s ok”. 

Naw, that’s a losers mentality. That mentality will never win a title. You can’t hope the competition just happens to suck that year. 

You have to be willing to face everyone at their best because ultimately that’s how you get better. 

Damn what anyone else thinks about the trade. We have Trae and he has tremendous potential. That’s all that matters right now. So let’s hope he continues to grow so that he can reach that potential

I don't think 26 pt comeback are flukes. And if Trae wasn't relegated to the bench for a quarter bc of the bullshit fouls, he has another 22-25 pt night. So excited for this year's team, there's a lot of "right" happening. 

Someone else touched on how he helped Trae with handling and getting pass full court pressure in the fourth.  He made a bevy of nice timing passes inbounds and in the backcourt while helping direct the youngster.
