If one believes Kirschner.... and he was right about the idea of a 2 for 1 to create an extra roster slot, btw... then the point is to create a space for a returning player and another for a "low tier" FA.

I agree. They must be concerned about the chemistry and fit because there's no doubt he would be an upgrade over what they have now or what they could get in FA.

Because he’s DeMarcus Cousins. The worst is yet to come. I just don’t want him infecting the staff.
