If only Tony Stark could build him some bionic knees.
thecampster
He is just so damn big though to have those handles, body control. It really is sad that injuries broke him. He's a good story. 2nd round pick works hard and is the second best player on a 54 win team. That part is very positive. Sad for him that he hit that wall due to injuries. He worked to get there. Gray Mule
When you toss a pebble into a quiet pond, how far do the ripples go? When you trade away Dwight Howard, how far do the results last? Parsons, whose contract runs out at the end of this season, come to Atlanta as part of the deal involving Plumlee, who we got in the DH deal. Parsons has a big contract. He apparently was an elite player. Then he had trouble with his knees. His value went down but his $$$ remained high. If the Hawks health squad can help with his problem, we can reap rich rewards yet from our days of having Dwight Howard. If not, Parsons' deal ends with the season. Just another question for the upcoming season.
Moderators AHF Posted July 31, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted July 31, 2019 Parsons was never an elite player but he was a very good wing before his health and play dropped off a cliff. I don't think there are rich rewards to be reaped even in a best case scenario but he could certainly bounce back to a useful rotation player. kerrypack
yah, let's hope he can contribute as a backup and leave it at that. Don't know how many times i have to say that age and injuries are a bitch on some of these guys.
Thomas
When micro fracture happens to a solid superstar it is close to game over (Amar'e) and now we are talking about a much lesser guy that hates rehabbing because of denial or whatever, you know (management and stuff).
