Cunningham: More blame for Dennis than Dwight

Opinions are like noses.  Everyone has one and no two are exactly alike!

My thoughts:  When he was here, DH wanted to be the giant star for Atlanta.  He was the hometown hero, come to save the Hawks.  Grab all the rebounds, shoot all the shots and be Mr. Basketball here.

Dennis would not co operate.  He took some of the shots and passed the ball to other Hawk players on the floor.  Is it any wonder DH failed? 

Just because DH failed before he came here and after he left is no excuse.  Everything is someone else's fault.  Can't any one see this???

The truth is we were going nowhere with Dennis.  Dennis is a selfish PG who cannot coexist with any other players who need touches.

If OKC trades Westbrook, I bet they find another PG to replace him.  Probably Goric.

There are plenty of reasons to justify your view.  Dwight Howard’s subsequent play after parting with Dennis is not one of them.
