Trae was also supposed to miss 2 weeks with his ankle. I'll wait on word from the Hawks.
Moderators macdaddy Posted November 14, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted November 14, 2019 Do we have any news on Vince? I hope all is ok. My dad didn't want to go on long flights when he got old either. Maybe that's it.

Moderators macdaddy Posted November 14, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted November 14, 2019 Yeah. I just didn't see anyway that would be a day to day injury. I've never seen anyone 'walk off' a shoulder thing like that where he immediately reaches for it. Hopefully it's some kind of strain that will be ok after the inflammation goes down. But I don't pretend to be a doctor. well that's not true but let's say i don't have a license. 1

Horror movie stuff and yet pro athletes overcome that stuff in just weeks or less. Go Chelsea and Kevin.

When they had completed the MRI but were sending to specialists in Atlanta for more review that signaled to me there was no quick return coming. They want to be sure he is clear and I don't blame them. Get all the way healthy, Kevin!
Premium Member cam1218 Posted November 14, 2019 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 14, 2019 Well, at least it isn’t the worst case scenario. Still doesn’t sound great and it will be hard for him to shoot for awhile. Hopefully he is only out for a month or so and can return with John Collins and be another Christmas present for us.

They played through small stuff that players dont today. Kevin has a rotary and shoulder strain. Nothing serious as coach Pierce but will be out two weeks. If the Hawks were in contention he might play sooner.

And is Huerter out because he is a wuss compared to players in the 80's or is it because teams are investing 10x the money on players in the game today and have a much greater incentive to protect the ROI?
NBASupes
Hopefully he is back by early December. The injury looks like an one month type. 20 minutes ago, Vol4ever said: They played through small stuff that players dont today. Kevin has a rotary and shoulder strain. Just look at metrics that highlight movement, today's NBA player does a lot more movement moves and move a lot more in general. I thought when it happened it would be a 4 week type deal if there were no tears or breaks. 2 to 3 weeks to heal than another week or so to regain strength and flexibility. Moderators AHF Posted November 15, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted November 15, 2019 On that list of ATGs on the other thread, you'll notice that Magic and MJ missed a combined something like 107 games their second seasons. Guys got injured back then too.
