Get Trae out before he gets Overeem'd

A off night for Trae, 45.0 FG% and 30.8 from three but still had 30 points, 9 assist, and only 2 turnovers. This was a team win all the way around. I have to wonder if the Hawks can stick within 5 or 6 games of the 8th seed when Collins gets back if they will chase Steven Adams with a pick and one of their large expiring contracts.

He improved his numbers on the final minutes of the 4th with 3 baskets, his game was even worse than that, he will have better nights for sure but he needs to share the ball faster. 

The good thing, some players came to play today, Jones, Len, Carter, Crabbe and Huerter, good win

C'mon man, we can't be this jaded as Hawks fans. 30 points on 45% shooting and 9 assists to 2 turnovers isn't a "ho hum" game. That's not routine or average at all.

What a game by the vet Vince! Some people were just asking if we wasted a roster spot in him.

Great team win all around. Trae was his fabulous self with 30/9/6 and I will mention only 2 turnovers!!!! Crabbe had some key 3’s as well. Len played like he was trying to get signed to the Jordan team . Was Mike there? Was that Len? Ferocity!

GO HAWKS!!!!! Nice Sunday win!

Trae, I understand.  He needs to be the playmaker tonight and get that floater going.  Then go for the 3s.

His defense was awful and he was bricking layups. He had more open looks tonight as Washington kept getting lost.

Trae was ass tonight till the 4th. He got hot in the 4th but overall, Charlotte did a good job with him. That said, VC, Len and Kevin were amazing. Cam played elite defense till garbage time and just looked awful in the last two mins. 

The lineup of Trae/Kevin/Cam/Parker/Jones was pretty good on offense.

Charlotte didn't do a good job on him, he was missing wide open shots by  his standards. He was just off tonight. It happens, but to shoot 45% on an off night is great.  Although, that 4-13 on three is not to be desired. I feel like he could get to the rim whenever he wanted.

I felt like he could have gotten teammates involved a little more in the first half, but that's just being nitpicky.  All around good game from him.

Not good, the Falcons should be losing every game now that they've been eliminated from the playoffs. It's just that they were out tanked by Carolina today.
