Premium Member Diesel Posted November 10, 2020 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 10, 2020 I'm apt to believe that the megatrade is something like: Johnson, #2, and Wiggins to Indy Oladipo to Minnesota Turner to the Warriors. No Hawks in it.

Most don't go left. They even try to force Trae to go left, but he's actually good at it. See Dominique. He NEVER used his left hand. lol

Popular Post thecampster
Currently, only the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets and Phoenix Suns have cap space heading into the offseason, which has some players antsy entering the market. “Don’t play the waiting game,” one player advised current free agents this offseason. “Take your offer and run with it. There isn’t going to be time to be debating and playing games.” – via Michael Scotto @ HoopsHype 4

thecampster
Practical Cap Space is defined as the amount of salary space available if a team renounces all free agents, waives any players non guarantees and rejects all team options. Below are the teams with "Practical cap space". If questions about if that practical cap space is real or not. See the column active cap to see what they'll probably retain and subtract the difference from practical cap. It will help in determining if that team has real cap or not. Only Detroit, NO and Atlanta real players here. The Heat could get someone but they are short 6 players just like us. Signed Active Cap Dead Cap Practical Cap Space 1 Atlanta Hawks 9 $57,903,929 - $49,344,424 2 New York Knicks 13 $93,867,130 $6,431,667 $48,216,797 3 Detroit Pistons 8 $70,387,303 - $37,456,110 4 Sacramento Kings 9 $96,984,325 - $30,979,082 5 New Orleans Pelicans 9 $83,130,988 - $29,415,772 6 Charlotte Hornets 10 $80,967,576 - $28,380,697 7 Miami Heat 9 $77,878,760 $5,564,670 $24,532,742 8 Phoenix Suns 12 $93,746,406 - $20,606,718 9 Toronto Raptors 9 $88,155,460 - $19,423,623 10 Minnesota Timberwolves 11 $95,505,978 $685,340 $14,055,265 11 Portland Trail Blazers 10 $107,379,826 $4,757,775 $5,307,469 12 Washington Wizards 11 $103,004,971 - $4,708,080 13 Oklahoma City Thunder 12 $105,271,065 $1,736,267 $4,518,410 14 Chicago Bulls 12 $106,027,707 - $3,112,293 15 Denver Nuggets 10 $109,726,236 - $72,578 16 Dallas Mavericks 13 $110,873,876 - $3,398

Short term $$ deals are perfect for us. That is a nice match if we don't do a move that adds a major salary. Get quality vets on one-year deals to fill in the roster with hugely upgraded talent around our core. Keep flexibility for next summer's FA, trades, etc..
Popular Post NBASupes
GS is spilling the beans. Sacramento-Milwaukee-Minny are working on a blockbuster three team deal with Middleton, LaMelo Ball, Harrison Barnes, Bogdan SnT, Bledsoe, and Culver as a filler. Middleton was made available to Atlanta, Chicago, GS, and Minny but Minny is the only one where they found the terms to be reasonable. Holiday to MIN is unlikely as he wants to go to a contender. GS doesn't like the terms for Holiday and Ball would have to also be there. GS likes Wiggins and they think he's an asset and not a major liability which other teams don't agree. Boston is aggressively pursuing more depth and they are targeting Tristian Thompson in FA. This is looking to signal an end to Gordon Hayward. Larry Nance Jr. Is seen to be a trade target for Boston and several others like Dallas. Brooklyn will have to move LeVert plus Dinwiddle to land Holiday. NO is not desperate to move Jrue and he wants to return to New Orleans.
