NBASupes
The bottomline is unless they want Dedmon and to do a 3 way deal for a big they covet like Adams or Drummond, or they are giving us a draft asset for Hayward's TPE, it doesn't make sense for Atlanta to do this.

Have you heard anything about Smart being in the deal with Hayward? I have a feeling Smart is included. Why else would we even do a SnT if Hayward is our first choice and we are his

They have picks to spare, too. In fact, I'd demand #14. And when they whine, say, "Okay then #26 AND #30 then." Worth mentioning that sending them Dedmon reduces the TPE...

Smart? Unless Boston takes Dedmon or gives us a draft asset, it doesn't. Dedmon would be massive for Boston. Its unlikely he would play a second for them but he can help them get Adams or Drummond and ultimately, that's 100% of his value for them Edited November 18, 2020 by NBASupes 1

We get an asset for facilitating, Boston gets a TPE the value of whatever Gordon's salary is, it's valid for 1 year for them to use to acquire a player(s) equal to the value of the TPE. Dedmon is a filler. If anything removing Dedmon in return for cap space adds a lot more value to the deal.

If it's draft capital then fine. Sounds good. Ask for 14. Then trade 6 and 14 to GSW and take Antman. LOL 2
