Tonight was a glimpse in to the future. Dre and Cam showed us something special. I’m too excited for those two guys to play like this every night. Wow man

Fans are going to hate us when we get some consistent defense.

It’s going to be something special! Trae has the curry scoring effect when he gets hot.
 

I read in a ESPN article sometime last year or the year before that curry is the fastest scoring 30 point or near 30 point scorer the league has ever seen in nba history due to stringing 3s back to back to back in possessions over the course of the game but he usually did it in the 3rd quarter from what I remember reading.

anyways Trae is extremely capable of doing the same thing as curry and I wouldn’t have said that last year but wow what a difference a year makes.

We will definitely be building  leads pretty easily once we can string together more consistent stops defensively.

The best part of that Cam steal was the fact that it was a one on one foot race for that loose ball and he out-ran Dragic who even laid out for the ball. That was pure effort and heart. I’m so glad he finished it with that dunk to add the exclamation point.

So I had to work late due to a work emergency. I missed this game. I am so angry right now that I could fist fight Ivan Johnson and come out on top! 

I can't believe I missed Ice Trae's first feety point game...

Guessing this is rhetorical but if not, the obvious answer is because still aren't a very good, high quality team. They have very good pieces (trae almost always and JC occasionally) and then some pieces that are uber talented but still young and highly inconsistent (Cam, Hunter, Kev) and then a bunch of guys no one else on the NBA really wants. 

So yeah, it takes all of the Hawks limited pieces playing very good games PLUS Trae scoring 50 to beat a quality team by 5 pts. 

I said it earlier....the Hawks are still bringing a slingshot to a gun fight most nights. Hopefully between FA and getting Capela back that will change soon.

If you have the Fox Sports Go app or website you can rewatch the game...I am enjoying some of the plays I missed due to logging hours with my son to get his driver's license...

There are games that define a season and remove the lid that a player has been fighting to get to the next level and I think tonight 's game might be one of those games for a few of our Hawks!!! Haven't been this excited in a long time!!! And this was without Capela!
