Popular Post thecampster
https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-luka-doncic-really-upset-130006771.html See the above article. After the firing of Don Nelson, there are now rumors that Doncic will want out of Dallas. So you're a Mav's fan the Hawks make it to the finals this year and in 2 years, Doncic is a Spur, how does that pee in your Cheerios taste? That's maybe the most overlooked part of these instant (who won the trade) scenarios. Players get injured, players get fat, players ask for a trade, management comes in and decides Wilkins for Manning is a great idea. You never know how these things turn out 30 minutes later. Its why I don't believe in "Basketball experts agree" or "instant analysis". The Hawks are 1 win from the eastern conference finals everyone. Luka might be on his way out of Dallas. Man that was quick. 12

Popular Post Dejay
I tried to tell folks that things were going to get tight in Dallas if they fail while Trae and the gang keeps climbing...

High5
There is zero chance Cuban allows Luka to leave Dallas. He’s the most valuable asset in pro sports outside of maybe some soccer player.

One of the reasons they picked Trae is that he was a fit for our franchise. That was amazing foresight.

Now does he sign another one after that? Who knows, but it's not a real concern right now.

He has the endorsements and options to never work again in a very short time if he wants to do that and so if this broke his relationship with the Mavs he could take a one-year tender and walk after that if he really wanted to and he would lose money but be able to pick where he wanted to be. Given how fabulously wealthy he will be when his career is done and the amounts he has already made (again he has made bank outside of just what the Mavs pay him), I wouldn't feel super confident if I was the Mavs and saw this developing.

Man that was quick. Life comes atcha fast, campst. Yet when the eggsperts speak of this trade, they gloss over all the crap you laid out and go, "Bu-bu-but all 30 gm's'd take Luuka over Trae." It's maddening groupthink. 1 hour ago, bleachkit said: If he leaves he gets less money though. I don't think he will leave. You new here? The NBA m.o. is 'get the money/force the trade'.

Popular Post Gray Mule
TWO TRADES I WOULDN'T RE DO: 1- Hawks obtain Lou Williams. Rondo is gone. 2- Hawks obtain Reddish and Young. Old what's his name is gone. Knowing what you know today, would you still do these trades? I would. I sincerely believe that these two trades are one of the big reasons the Hawks are in the position that they find themselves today. We will face a team in the desperation mode Friday night. They had life made. Victory was in their hands. As they celebrated this, the third quarter was winding down. Hawks made a small move. So what. Then, slowly their world turned. It can't possibly be happening! It's a dream! Yep. A nightmare named the Atlanta Hawks. Stunned! No other way to describe it. 76ers will come to Atlanta. We, the Hawks, have made believers of them. They discovered that they are mere humans after all. Not one Clark Kent on the roster. They may come in, blow our door off for the next two games, then go to the eastern finals. Maybe not. This Hawk team refuses to lay down and play dead. GO BIG A 7
Popular Post KB21
While he isn't Luka, there is a lot of buzz that Zion Williamson is unhappy in New Orleans, and his "family" would prefer that he were on another team. 3

Popular Post Dejay
And now Carlisle gets it. Oh boy. What a difference a year makes. All I heard before this postseason was about how the duo of Doncic and Porzingis would make the Mavs contenders for years and how they were doing things the right way. Well... 6
