Yeah that makes sense. I'm over this shish. This is starting to look a little intentional. Of course, that would be ridiculous if true, but I can't deny how it looks. Wes was brought in, played a game, AND tested positive well after our other guys had entered health and safety protocols. The timeline doesn't make sense.

At best, it's negligent and dismissive of our chances.
Premium Member mrhonline Posted December 30, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 30, 2021 I don't think it's intentional. I think it's just a stupid plan. How are we nearly two years into the pandemic yet massive companies are still completely aimless? 1
Blunt91
Does anyone think Chaundee Brown or Malcolm Hill have shown enough to make the roster for the rest of the season? Either one would be an upgrade over Solomon who is out for the season and taking up a roster spot.
Popular Post kg01
Finally some national attention our ridiculous plight ... https://www.yahoo.com/sports/opinion-nba-mishandling-winter-omicron-231243698.html Quote Opinion: The NBA is mishandling the winter of omicron and turning its product into a joke Ohhhh, take that, Adam! Quote Never mind the absurdity of filling indoor arenas with fans during this wave while forcing COVID-ravaged teams like the Hawks to keep playing, ensuring the outbreak will continue both within their organization and others Mmhmm, this guy gets it. Quote "This virus will not be eradicated, and we're going to have to learn to live with it, and I think that’s what we’re experiencing in the league right now,” Silver said in an interview with ESPN a week ago. But does learning to live with COVID really mean allowing it to devastate your product for a month with outbreaks rolling from locker room to locker room, not even attempting to stop the chain of transmission? Ooooohh, off that top rope! Quote Under the current conditions, though, the NBA’s response to omicron has been an utter failure. And all you need to do is take a look at the Hawks, who have probably been hit harder than anyone over the past several days. Can I get a amen! Bu-wait, it gets worse ... Quote At some point, though, the integrity of the product has to come into play — an issue the NBA has taken a pretty strong stand on when it comes to other topics. The NBA has changed its rules to punish teams for resting star players for national TV games if they’re healthy, it changed the draft lottery to disincentivize teams from tanking and it added play-in games for the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in each conference so that more teams would take the regular season seriously. But when it comes to COVID-19, the league is perfectly fine with charging Trae Young ticket prices while fans watch a team full of Lance Stephensons and Cat Barbers. That's gotta leave a mark! Dayum, did I write this article? Anyway, I am in no way shape or form a fan of these national writers. But I've been waiting to see if an outsider would weigh on this hidden dilemma. This guy went all the way in. 7

Moderators AHF Posted December 30, 2021 Moderators Report Share Posted December 30, 2021 Following the OSHA/CDC protocols makes a ton of sense. Ironically, by "grandfathering" some players under the old standards they are actually not following current OSHA/CDC protocols. That makes zero sense. If the CDC/OSHA get new data and tweak the protocols against to extend them is the NBA going to "grandfather" people under the old rules and let them return early? Not if they don't want to end up dealing with legal issues. Of course there will be no "grandfather"ing those players but the protocols get shortened and you aren't going to adjust? WTF league. Beyond stupid. What a joke that the Hawks are still playing games right now. Their whole roster is:
