Highly disappointed in Trae in these last 8 minutes of gameplay.

Shoot the damn basketball and stop with the lazy passes.   Stop coasting, because he's obviously doing that right now.

The situation is what it is.  You've played in games like this when you were in college and you were undermanned from a talent standpoint.  I needed him to have the mentality that I am not going to let my team lose, by continuing to score the basketball.

News flash!  This is not unusual for this team.  Plus some of the G-leaguers are playing better defense than Trae.

It's not, but you never conceptualize anything.  What were expectations?  We were going to come in and lock down the Bulls with 6 or 7 g league players in our rotation.

It's funny how you always deflect.  I already discussed Trae Young' defensive effort.

No need to get upset with a team with three NBA players is getting blown out. You want them to hussle? Tell the NBA to cancel our game until we get half our rotation back like they are doing for Miami.

Trae still needs to get Cam the ball in his spots to get him going.  Sometimes he has it and he doesn't have to do it, but tonight seems like one of those nights to get him several spot up threes.

If we had more than three of our actual roster out there with a bunch of g leaguers.

What will make you accept the fact we are short handed?

Cam also needs to be assertive about shooting the ball, just like with Trae.

I was seeing both he and Trae kind of coasting, or trying to make passes to get the others involved.  This is not the game for that.  We needed them to BALL OUT if we were going to stay in this game.

If they're not more aggressive in Cleveland, they'll beat us by 20 too, even without both of their PGs.

Again...Trae and Capela have been worst than the G-leaguers on defense and just as bad on offense

How bad does this free fall go? 15-20 before we play the Blazers next Monday with hopefully more guys back?

Do we turn it around at Sacramento on Wednesday?

We could be 6 games under .500, just like we were last season, before we get most of our team back. But here is the messed up part. We WERENT playing good basketball even before Covid attrition.

When will this team ever hit it's stride again?

You need to understand basketball sir.

In a game like this, we need Trae and Cam to combine for damn near 70 points to even have a shot.  If Trae is at the 30+ shot mark, he's more than likely shooting close to 50% for the game, which would be good enough to keep us in it.

The G-Leaguers have played about as well as can be expected.  It's our main guys that needed to play better.

So instead of asking Skylar Mays to pump in 20 points, you ask Trae to go for 40 . . which he has done during his career and led us to wins.

I'd hate to see Trae's FG and 3pt % if you were the Coach.. Hed proabaly avg 10 turnovers too.. lol

Yep.  Who knows?  Difference is there are teams like Chicago and Miami ahead of us we are unlikely to catch.

As Iverson said in that playoff game vs the Raptors . . . KEEP PLAYING!!

Just get it into the teens and then hit that psychological barrier of ten points. It's going to take consistent offense and stops though.

What is it going to take for McMillan to go into a full zone with capela on the floor???

let vucevic stay on the perimeter with a guard! Who cares! He’s not going to blow past a guard. He can’t shoot over him sure but as long as the shot is contested at the best effort and capela is near the rim the better off we are defensively no matter who’s playing 10 day contractors or our regular starters.

this team even when healthy is not good enough as a whole to play heavy man to man switching defense. We are a zone defensive team! Keep Trae near the baselines so he don’t have to cover as much space like he would at the top of the key.

im growing frustrated with McMillans stubbornness. The strategy he has put out this season isn’t working even when healthy offensively or defensively.

if capela is going to be asked to be on the perimeter this much we need to trade him. His rebounding isn’t even impactful this season because we just don’t get enough stops and offensively we truly have the same issue as last season where we need another ball handler playmaker or scorer….again 10 day contract players or regular rotation players same results from bad strategy all around.

You see what's happening in the game now, right?

Trae is more assertive, and the game which was about to get completely out of hand, is at least now back down below 20.

Trae is our most talented offensive player.  He's most lethal when he's scoring the ball.

Cam is our 2nd most talented offensive player in this game.  He's most effective when he's scoring the ball.

You worry way too much about turnovers.  I worry more about the type of turnovers he can prevent.  If he's committing a turnover trying to score the basketball, that doesn't bother me.  If he commits a turnover with a lazy pass , that's far worse because that can lead to an easy bucket on the other end.

Trae is the scoring SUPERSTAR on this team.  When he scores, the Hawks are most successful.  Those are facts sir.

Bulls "cooling off".

Down to 64% FG now . . . lol.

Hopefully sooner rather than later, upcoming stretch of games will not be a cakewalk.

Dont draft any more finesse players who dont like playing defense.. That is all.........Hawks need some tough guys...Too bad Schlenk took Tyler freakin Dorsey over Dillon Brooks in 2017(and they went to the same school.. smh) ...He wouldve been perfect with Trae.. smh

Yup McMillan is not coaching well! It sucks but it’s the truth.

the players aren’t playing inspired. The rotations aren’t good. The defense strategy is horrible and not putting players at the best position they can be impactful specifically capela who’s now a defensive perimeter big man this season.

offense can’t score consistently even if Trae has a good game the team has still been a let down for the majority of the season offensively.

lots of problems….before the injuries, before COVID started to make an impact on players being out or not….just lots of problems PERIOD.

If this was a pickup game, which it essentially is, you let your best player on the team score the majority of the points.  But as the secondary player, when you get a chance to score, you MUST score.

It's been plenty of pickup games that I've played in, where I only got 1 or 2 shots.  But those shots almost always came at the end of the game.

STAY AGGRESSIVE TRAE!!
