Exactly JB.  Show something.  Anything.

You can tell that some of them get irritated when Trae goes into shoot first mode.  So when he's not in the game, its their time to shine.  But more times than not, they can't get it done.

So it's either accept what this team is, or play better so that everything isn't Trae dependent.

It's not just Trae, it's not just Cam. Now Bogi is getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar. That's on coaching at this point. Our defensive strategy needs to be revisited because that weakside 3 is wide open every single possession it seems. Guys need to anticipate that kick out if they are going to sink down, or just stay home.

Great defense Huerter . . . and we get the Trae long 3 on the other end.

Great effort guys.

But a miscommunication on a rotation by Bogi and Collins gives the 3 right back.

 

Just talk to each other guys.  If we're switching, you guard the man closest to you.

When you actually watch what is going on, you definitely see it.  Weakside 3 is definitely open every single time.  They need to be told to NOT sink down.  Let the big or whomever is guarding that player, to play him straight up.

And this has been happening a lot this season. Granted guys being in and out of the lineup has contributed to a lot of this.

Said it last season. We get too deep in the paint and can't recover.

It's one thing when that's the Sixers and Embiid but the Clippers want to shoot 3s

This Clippers team is so much better than the Lakers when both teams are healthy.  They have good pieces and good chemistry

Genuinely though, when we give up as many open 3s as we do, you don't need elite offensive players, just NBA level players that can make open shots... that's why it hasn't mattered who we have been playing, just giving up 130 a game.  It's why "nobodys" keep having career highs against us.

Clippers are shooting 50% from the field and three.  The defensive effort has been much improved.  Some of this is unexpected shotmaking from the Clippers. 

Team still has to fight harder and clean up some of the defensive miscommunications.
