This is Boston's 3rd ECF. They were first round fodder last year.

I will give Boston props for keeping their core guys intact in brown, Tatum, smart.

especially Tatum and brown who so many were saying needed to break up over the last 2-3 seasons. 
 

we haven’t found our other all star with Trae but once we get him they’ll need time to grow in the regular season and playoffs.

You haven't explained to me how the Celtics went to the ECF the year before last.  Lost in the first round and now are in the finals. So I guess last year they were terrible and skipped steps?

It's a process. 

We are going into year 5 of our superstar.

Boston is is year 6  of Tatum and Brown and had  a lot more draft capital than the Hawks started with.

Also what steps did he skip?

Boston did the same thing adding Hayward, Kyrie at one point …even got rid of horford only to bring him back.

Schlenk didn’t make a mistake putting vets around Trae …he only made a mistake not trying to improve the roster last summer despite the ECF run. Which is easy to say now.

Trae - Collins - Hunter - Huerter

We lost Cam, but who knows how his career will pan out. 

Adding Bogi and Gallo was definitely the right move. But some of us knew that they may not be here throughout their entire contract.

 

And don't forget, the Celtics had to turn over a lot of pieces before they finally got things right, including the coach.

Here was the Celtic roster 2 years ago. The guys in red are still in on the team.

We should’ve tanked/been more aggressive in finding Trae’s Version of Jaylen Brown.
