Wouldn’t it be wiser to just waive Gallo and use the 10.4 non tax payer and the 4.1 bi-an exemption in free agency.    Then look at possible trades w Capela and Bogi

No. Because we would have that already by being under the cap. What this gives us is a TPE that would be around 19.4 million since Wiggins(NG) would have to be included from OKC as they have 15 players on the 2021-22 roster. We can use that 19.4 for trades, SnT within this range, etc. It gives us flexibility even if we don't use most of it.
