I see you been watching the Hawks since 1977.  Thats approximately the same time I started watching them.  Hubie was the head coach and Eddie Johnson was the point guard.  Roundfield, Hawes, McMillan,  Criss, the whole gang.

What after Trae dribbles out the clock or shoots without passing the ball. You get rhythm by moving the ball keeping everyone engaged. 

Look how much better the Hawks play when they push the ball and not sitting around watching Trae dribble . You push the ball and there will be plenty of shots for Trae. Not asking Trae not to shoot just asking him not to be so ball dominate.

The only team in the league with worse shot selection than us is probably the Knicks.  We just have to keep them out of the paint and let Randle/Barrett shoot them out of the game

JC is a bench player and JJ aint ready.. Hawks have a PF problem..

As it should be- when Trae is struggling, who steps up.

All-Star backcourt kept us in it.

Now we need for our frontcourt to start crashing the boards and get stops.

 

Murray being aggressive with that 2nd unit on the floor, was the key to everything.  Don't rely on role players to dig you out of a hole like this.  It has to be stars that dig you out, and the role players to make key plays to secure the win.

Loved that era, despite all the cocaine tragedies with Drew and Eddie Johnson.

He is too nice to the refs.  Notice they don't do that with aggressive players that get in their face and complain.

That is exactly why I thought we got Murray, but last game it was too much ISOing.

Nate brought back the starters earlier than normal.
