If JT is traded then should Diaw go?

True, I haven't watched the team as much and most of the

games I have watched haven't been full games. A few periods

here and a few periods there...But what I've seen, I've seen

that he's a good rebounder for his position but his offensive

game looks almost crippled and some good passes and alot of

turnovers. He'll hit a nice shot sometimes, but he's shooting

40% and only averaging about 4PPG for a reason.

And your point being??

Boris Diaw is NOT a star. He is NOT L. James. He

is not a great offensive player.

The things that he brings to the team are more subtle

than what you may see on the scoreboard.

Since he is not an all star player, Atlanta doesn't have

to pay him all star money. If he was being paid at the

rate that some players are, $10-$15 Million, then you

might have an argument.

Remember, it takes 5 players on the floor at all times

to have a team. It would be wonderful to have someone

like M. Jordan in his prime, Nique in his prime, Magic

Johnson in his prime -- But, you still must have others.

Boris Diaw is a building block - He's not the entire

structure. He's not great, not yet any way, but he's

pretty danged good! Hawks don't have many players in

his age catagory that we can say that about.

Obviously you are showing that you dont watch the games. Even including his poor start this year and coming back the injury he still has a better than 1:1 A/TO ratio.

Try watching the games for 48 minutes every night and then tell us what you see in him and you might see the same thing that we see.
