Five hot updates

1. Seems like Portland and New Orleans are working on a mega trade to bring Zion to Portland and Scoot to the NO. This should have either right before the draft or around the 3rd pick.

2.  Capela is still the player that I am told will be moved tonight for Atlanta.

3. Expect more upper middle class trades like Marcus Smart tonight. Capela, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Terry Rozier are the hot names on the market.

4. LAC were seriously shopping Paul George. Of the next vet stars, he's currently on an expiring deal so it limits the teams he can be traded to, to good teams with a chance to contend so his market value just isn't super high but teams have called. Dallas, Atlanta, New York, and Miami are the names I've gathered. It does seem more likely that LA keeps him than trades him but they are exploring options. He's the name that I was told, don't be shocked if he's moved tonight especially if Lillard stays in Portland which is starting to be expected in league circles.

5. There is just not a lot of hype in the Siakam train. I do know Toronto wants Murray but Atlanta been reluctant to offer him. I would be surprised if Siakam is traded tonight.

Bonus:

6. Dame is expected to stay in Portland. Zion is a game changer and they are trying to get a center with more mobility and some shooting.

7. A lot of teams have called about Myles Turner and it seems like Indy isn't moving him at all unless you pay a very steep price. OG is getting the same treatment.

Scoot may go 2nd overall...

Oof.  My reaction to seeing that is like some old grandma looking in her grandson's phone and seeing a buncha porn.

Oh lawd, jeebus!

He'd have to actually play for this to be true.

The objection you need to overcome is his availability, not his playing ability.

JC and Dre arent exactly who I think about when talking about always beong available either..  Even when they play sometimes, its like they're not even there..

Just sayin.. lol

pg Brunson duo wow!

For all the mounting noise about Paul George’s trade candidacy in Los Angeles, don’t expect the Clippers to part with the eight-time All-Star. Portland has indeed registered interest in creating a package around the No. 3 pick for George, sources said, but those talks did not gain any traction with Los Angeles. There has certainly been talk of New York’s interest in acquiring George should the Clippers truly make him available, but Los Angeles has the intention to continue bolstering its roster around George and Kawhi Leonard — as evidenced by the team’s attempt to bring Brogdon into the fold.

Another trade in the Eastern Conference seemed to derail as it approached the finish line Tuesday night. The Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks were making headway on a deal that would have sent De'Andre Hunter to the Pacers, league sources told Yahoo Sports, but talks ultimately broke apart. Further details of the framework are still unknown, but as the Hawks have consistently looked at deals that could help Atlanta jump from No. 15 into the top 10 of this draft, the Pacers were not willing to swap the No. 7 pick in those discussions for Hunter, sources said.

In all seriousness, I wish we had more dogs like this. The only reason we don’t hear about him is because his body type is held against him opposed to Zion who is popular and gets a pass. You can’t tell me they don’t have the same game and bully anyone that gets in their way.

"ZION" he's a one name brand. Kenneth Lofton should have done his son better than adding the Jr.

Would it hurt us terribly bad if we had to endure a Melo + Zion  PNR when we played Charlotte?

I can't see Charlotte not sending over the pick for Zion? Maybe something like  Gordon and #2 for WIlliamson?  Maybe they throw in #14.

It's possible but it didn't seem like Charlotte wanted Zion

Jake fischer dropped new article:

  • Says hawks were in talks with indy to send dre their but talks fell through cause indy didn't want to include 7th pick and that the deal they made with Denver may have furthered the likelihood of dealing being done.
  • have discussed multiple scenarios for a siakam deal including three teamer
  • JC, Clint, and DJ mentioned as trade candidates

Hawks thought they were getting the 7th pick and more for Dre?

The Pacers decided Hunter wasn’t it. :sarcastic:

FYI, The Indy deal is not dead, Indy is just weighing what else is out there. Barring another partner stepping up, this will resurface by the draft.

Neither is the Mavs deal from what I’m hearing per my sources.
