When I 👀 at this a second time it makes me think of how I’m the chicken and how the squawk often wants to choke me. … I gotta get away 🏃‍♀️

I love this gif.

I've said the same thing, do you buy that jumper, they did with JC and won big with it as their pick. His ability to guard multiple positions like OO is the real prize. Some have compared him to Mitchell Robinson but Mitchell has more offensive upside but not quite the defensive feel and IQ of Lively. That said, do you buy the jumper.

Do I?  Not yet.  I need to see it in game action.

:er:....at pick #10?

WCS was picked at #6. The idea of WCS was superior to the reality.

So much of Lively strengths are based on his IQ and positioning. He's also are a plus passer. That's probably the most appealing about his offensive upside even if he's limited.

Has anyone heard why they didn't use his shooting abilities at Duke? That's the part that scares me... doesn't make sense for his college coach to limit him that much if those skills played up in actual games.

Maybe he filled a specific need with other shooters on the team.

JC was the same at Wake Forest....was strictly a post player.

I was talking in general. Same here, not yet. Then again, I don't have access to the prospects like the scouts, coaches, and executives do

If there is a player he has shades of, it's Kevon Looney. He's just much much taller and longer. Looney has more offensive upside but they are both smart high BBIQ players who can pass, play unselfish and are both plus defensive players.

I've been on this boat for awhile. If you trade someone as impactful as Clint, it's gonna hurt.

If you're not replacing his impact in other areas, it's clearly bad.  Rookies usually aren't ready and probably won't play year one for Snyder.  And attaching a pick on top of that?  No bueno.

Rookie centers at that who only played one year of college.

If it’s the right price I’m gonna take it. I’ve come to the realization that young ballers come with a risk. He’s fat, he loves hookers, but at least he hasn’t shot any fake guns..

Look, again I liked Zion. He’s been injured half his career but the other half when he’s played he’s been an all star and a force.

I wouldn’t mind pairing Trae and Zion for the right price.

I know I’m back n forth on this but IF he or his camp can get him straight, he’s a top 10 player in the league for the next 5 years.

I have made myself believe that IF I saw Zion on Trae's Pickup Basketball team with Trae and DJM this summer and he was playing hard like they play and he looked up to Trae and DJ like team then I would want him on our squad.  I would love to see the desire to play basketball and not just the desire to be IN Atlanta.

I use a similar scale -- number of times he bounces a ball on someone's head per game.

DJM bounced the ball off the head of 4 different lotto picks this summer!  We're going all the way to the Finals!

Zion reminded me of Nique when he came out of college. Just the way he viciously attacked the rim, Barkley/LJ body type but kinda had the Nique bow legged ferocity when heading to the rim.

I’m not gonna lie, I kinda want him. In a lot of way I agree with @kg01 about his body being unsustainable in the long run and all the off court stuff with the porn stars and whatnot but he would look drool worthy in a Hawks uni.

Having said that, it still depends on the price. Honestly I’d swing a JC/Cap for Zion/JaxHayes deal. Again, a risk but just the thought of Trae and Zion together would make us one of the biggest draws in the league as far as coverage and would finally maybe shed a positively light on how it’s great to PLAY BASKETBALL 🏀 IN ATLANTA vs just go there for clubs and buying shoes n stuff as you alluded to in your previous post.

I might be wrong about this. I want Zion. I’m back n forth but something tells me if he lands in a new situation with an awesome PG (Trae) and an awesome coach (Q) that he’s gonna turn this thing around.

He is a monster on the court and when he’s healthy I turn the channel to watch him play I ain’t gonna lie …, unless it’s Hawks time then I don’t change the channel for anything.

Celtics not intending to trade Jaylen Brown

i_23_c5_ef_jaylen-brown.png?w=190

Jaylen Brown remains an essential part of that picture. The source said the Celtics do not intend to trade the All-Star forward, and that all signs continue to point toward Brown signing a five-year, $295 million super-max extension this summer.
