So by not fouling, they let about 4 extra seconds go off of that clock.  Hunter was giving up and so was Murray in that situation. Only Collins had sense enough to foul.

This team does not play with urgency.

3-14 from Hunter killed us. We need all six missed free throws to have won the game but it isn't realistic to expect your team to make literally every free throw.

Obviously not having Trae hurt. DJM played his ass off. Bogi played well.

This is two years in a row a starting Hawks guard has a career game in points in Portland and we still lose.

I'll say, it's amazing the calls that Lillard got tonight. If Trae got those calls he'd average 40.

Regardless of the effort, not play a lick of defense.

"I'm getting tired of watching this team"          not play a lick of defense.

Welcome to the party...

Please adk Nate why JJ was out of the rotation tonight? And I don't want to hear - matchups. Play him and give him a chance, he might surprise you. If he struggles then pull him...but don't pre-emptively sit him. It's insanity.

We could his length. Try something.

Capela is useless on offense

no 1 dimension defensive player has much value in this league anymore

Collins is weak sauce

Hunter lol

Bogi has skill but is a scared little puppy when it matters most

These 3 need to be packaged for pizza sauce and baby formula

"Yeah bbbut he might go out there and try a windmill alley oop and miss.  There's literally and factually no way a team can overcome a young player making a stupid mistake and win an NBA game.  I've never, ever seen it." - iRobot

Why are you talking about Collins and Hunter as if they both had the same negative impact on this game? Collins was 16-6-3 with 58 FG% while playing tough defense and battling inside. Hunter was 10-2-1 with 21 FG% and was frequently lost on defense, like on the play when Simons hit a three over his weak closeout after one pass from Lillard.

JC was good in the 1st half, but dissappeared in the 2nd like he usually does..

He might as well have been 5'8" 145 pounds trying to box out Eubanks at one point.. lol

But yeah Hunter was worse..

You mean the one where he grabbed the offensive rebound when completely surrounded by Blazers and put in the and-1 (granted, he missed the foul shot)?

Because he's watching stats... not the game.
