Mental health was obviously an issue last year if reports are to be believed but I don't see any indication they were a factor when Quin removed him from the rotation after taking over mid-season. Just saying that would be a performance issue that prevents him from succeeding (at least in the short-term) as opposed to an off-the-court issue. Also, Quin didn't make big changes to the offense right away even though he pulled AJ from the rotation right away. He might also just not be as impressed with Griffin.
