Sarr the big question mark is whether an athletic, 7 footer who's 19 years old will keep developing? Seriously this isn't that hard. It's always interesting to see what adjectives are used depending on the player and the direction they want to drive conversation in.
KB21
I'm curious to see what the reaction will be if the top 3 picks end up being Clingan, Castle, and Sheppard.

I'm not the biggest Risacher fan, and I like Castle, but come on..... lol If we could get 4 from SA in Murray trade Trae/Risacher/?/JJ/Clingan would be ALOT of size around Trae.. 1

His athletic combine testing may be a big cause for concern, but I like the speed with which he processes and makes decisions on offense.

Clingan gives us some real size we've all been screaming for for years.. Sarr is really skinny. We really want another thin frontcourt player? Just playing devils advocate here.. lol 1 minute ago, JayBirdHawk said: His athletic combine testing may be a big cause for concern, but I like the speed with which he processes and makes decisions on offense. I'm not expecting Clingan to be a shooter.. If we want to spread the court some, put OO in the game.. I'm just tired of the Hawks getting bullied down low... Clingan is growing on me some... If we could get Risacher AND Clingan like the F.O wanst, I'd be pretty ecstatic tbh. Im thinking Risacher can play the 2 here.. He could be what we wanted Reddish to be.... OT the French Huerter with better defense and more aggression..... lol Edited June 20 by terrell

Hawks are still devoid of talent, we need more talented players that can do multiple things.
ShooterSays
Sarr is going to fill out. Look at players like Giannis and Embiid when they first came into the league vs now. We should be drafting for the next 10 years, not just the next 2. Chet and Wemby are both featherweights, but contributing at a high level as rookies. Sarr isn’t on their skill level RIGHT NOW, but similar build. If his shooting is real…watch out.

Seems like he has a good shooting stroke and he's confident taking them in games. I believe this is his shot chart from last year. I'm guessing it's better than most 19 year old 7 footers

Next season will be his age 19 season.

ShooterSays
Sarr is > 70% on his FT’s and has good form. Usually indicators that the 3 will improve.

I'm not expecting him to be a shooter either, but I'm having trouble reconciling someone projecting he can improve his range based on workouts and the combine when he was also awful from the free-throw line in college but in the same breath question Sarr's projection with similar range when you consider what he has done in games. That's all I'm saying. 4

Murray was 6 5 with shoes. castle has him by 1-2” on height. Murray came into the league in the 170s. Castle weighed in at 210. Murray wingspan is 6 9.5 where castle is 6 9. Very, very different sized players. Castle has legit size to handle big guards to small forwards.
