Got an update: Siakam and KAT are the main two targets. Team would rather have Siakam because his defense is better than KAT's (I love KAT and can't argue this). It sounds like Toronto is willing

General note that I appreciate everyone dropping relevant Twitter news in here (special shoutout to @JayBirdHawk who is the GOAT at dropping news/updates year-round) as I deleted the platform a few years ago.  This board is really my only Hawks news source other than friends texting me things before I have time to check in.

I would argue that NY had a vision.  They were tired with being mid - which is what they were with a core of Brunson, Randle, Barrett and Quigley, and so pivoted to pursue a strategy that involved more size, toughness and defense.  That strategy may ultimately not work for them but it is at least a clear direction.

I think it is time for the Hawks to pursue a more unified team building approach.  Pick a strategy and go all in.
