From who though?  Other teams know Trae and DJ did not work.  I would be that if Landry could come away with Clingan and a nice young player for DJ, he would do it in a heartbeat.

KD didn't work in PHX, does that diminish his value?  Doesn't matter if DJ didn't fit here, what matters is how valuable he is to another team, and there are plenty of teams that need PGs so he has value.

Another small backcourt?

I like reed but I’m good. We need size and length, stick with the plan hawks.

We need talent BPA

If we draft Sarr at 1 they won't have a choice.  They are desparate for him.

It was reported a week or two ago that Washington was happy to stay at #2 and take either Sarr or Risacher. They could be blowing smoke of course, but do you want to take the chance that they're not bluffing and potentially be stuck with a #1 pick that's not even your top choice?

Yes because Sarr > Risacher.  Washington is bluffing.

I can't believe our FO has Risacher over Sarr, but hopefully I'm wrong on him and he proves me wrong.  I just don't see it though, he is 190 lbs, not athletic, not long, questionable shooter, can't shoot FTs, not a passer, average rebounder.  He screams Marvin Williams or Deandre Hunter to me at his peak.

I wish there was a clear cut #1 for talent sake, but I’ve enjoyed reading the pros and cons for who to pick at number one from a bunch of y’all. Sometimes the debates drug out, but definitely a lot of good and interesting takes. I’m still personally hoping for a trade down, but if we stay at #1 I’ll support whoever it was. I was on the Sarr train initially, but I’ve soured on him a lot during the draft process.

Pretty much my feelings as well. No one is standing out to me as a clear-cut #1, so I'm very much rooting for us to trade down and hopefully pick up additional useful assets. Picking whoever is left between Sarr, Clingnan, Risacher and Reed at four plus additional asset(s) outweighs having your pick of the litter between those four... at least in my opinion.

There are a meaningful number of posts claiming Sarr, Risacher, Clingan, or Sheppard are the best player in this draft.  There are also posts that claim people are done with the Hawks if they draft some of those players.  This draft class split the fan base pretty evenly.

Also, Sarr is a fraud and will go De'Andre Ayton on the Wiz after he inks his extension, if he's not already pulling off his best Cam Reddish.
