Deni’s a solid player, but yeah seems like Portland (like Detroit) just doesn’t have a definitive direction (are they rebuilding or shooting for 1 play-in game?).

What do you think we use the #14 for?  #2 and 14 is too much for 4/8.  It’s too much to move up from 4 to 3.  Is it a sweetener for Mr. Herb Jones?

A lottery pick is an expensive way to do that for a team that doesn’t attract free agents.  The draft is Portland’s opportunity to improve.

Eta. I'm on the road so I'm forced to watch BSPN for the draft.  I may not make it past 2 minutes.

Also, watching the draft with the heat fan BIL.  Last time we did this, the Hawks took Horford.  Do with that information whatever you will ...
