I would be a fool to say he's Kessler or Lively but he's not bad. His numbers in defending the PnR are better than most centers. Better than some of your personal favs like Missi and Ware. You sware he's going to get exposed in the NBA but if he's not getting exposed in college when teams are gameplanning to attack him and aren't having much success, that means, he's not that bad. You can't keep saying something is bullshit when the data and the film say otherwise.
NBASupes
The data - Supes, you are correct The film - Supes, you are correct The tracker - Supes, you are correct KB - NOOOOOOOOOO! It's a lie. KB - It doesn't matter, he's not what you say he is. Supes - Get a stopwatch KB - NEVER! Premium Member Sothron Posted March 28 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 28 I'm even more convinced watching more game tape while recovering that Edey and Trae would be scary af for this team. Supes is putting on a master class in explaining why Edey would work for us.

Supes is putting on a master class in explaining why Edey would work for us. I've watched 27 games, possession by possession, and 5 international games from 3 years. It was hard for me. Edey is not an easy scout just due to poor fluidity and trying to figure out A. How's he producing and at the rate he's producing B. What are his strengths C. Does he have a comp Those took so much time for me. You know how quickly, I can do a short report on a player. It took a long time for me with Edey. Over time, I didn't even believe my eyes at first. Anyone who's not saying he's a difficult scout isn't scouting him at all. He's the hardest scout I've ever had. I thought Brandon Clarke was hard, this was way harder. KB21
Fairly easy to scout him. Big, slow, plodding big who doesn’t fit the modern paradigm for an NBA big.

Every person I've heard this from have written him off as a NBA prospect. Every. Single. One. I've never heard anyone who said Edey is an easy scout who saw him as a 1st rounder. The guy you said would be like Amare on offense. I never seen someone so hyped about being wrong more than you. You and thestepien loved his scoring. Hated his defense. Kessler is so much more athletic and is a much better defender. The NBA told him last year that he was a 2nd round pick at best. It’s why he’s 22 and a senior and not in the NBA now.

Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted March 28 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 28 Ayrton Ostly, USA TODAY Wed, Mar 27, 2024, 6:35 AM EDT·6 min read 2024 NBA mock drafts: Latest top 5 picks and predictions No. 1 overall (projected to the Detroit Pistons) USA Today: Zaccharie Risacher, F, JL Bourg (France) "Has the scoring ability, size, length, quickness and athleticism teams are seeking in today’s NBA. Quick release on catch-and-shoots, is able to create off the dribble and runs the court well." ESPN: Zaccharie Risacher, F, JL Bourg (France) "When looking at the very flat talent curve in this draft class -- not much separates the top prospects from each other -- Risacher represents a reasonable mix of both safety tied to his skill set, and upside tied to his age, which should have a good deal of appeal." Bleacher Report: Zaccharie Risacher, F, JL Bourg (France) Latest on Somak Sarkar investigation: Former Timberwolves employee arrested, accused of stealing hard drive with critical info No. 2 overall (projected to the Washington Wizards) USA Today: Alexandre Sarr, F/C, Perth (Australia) "A strong defender and shot-blocker who plays with force on both ends; has good hands, uses his body well and though he doesn’t have the prettiest shot, he gets it to go in." ESPN: Alexandre Sarr, F/C, Perth (Australia) "Sarr lacks the star power typically sought after in a top pick, but he offers some intrinsically modern traits that NBA teams covet in bigs. Mobile, athletic 7-footers almost always receive patience from teams and opportunities to succeed. The way Sarr runs the floor, moves defensively and flashes competent shooting is a pretty solid elevator pitch in a draft like this, where the hierarchy is very much in the eye of the beholder." Bleacher Report: Alexandre Sarr, F/C, Perth (Australia), No. 3 overall (projected to the San Antonio Spurs) USA Today: Nikola Topić, G, KK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia) "The Serbian point guard, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, has great size for his position; loves to drive to the rim and can finish with either hand; can shoot the 3 but will need to improve his percentage. Strong passer, not flashy, but sees the court and can make the right pass." ESPN: Rob Dillingham, PG, Kentucky "In a draft stacked with imperfect upside bets, there is a case for Dillingham and his creative ability as a home-run selection, hoping he develops into a player capable of shouldering heavy usage and running quality offense." Bleacher Report: Rob Dillingham, PG, Kentucky From March Madness to the draft: 12 NBA draft prospects to watch in men's NCAA Tournament No. 4 overall (projected to the Charlotte Hornets) USA Today: Cody Williams, F, Colorado "Williams’ perimeter defense and scoring ability make him a prime candidate for a top-five pick. Can get to the rim with ease, and finishes with power although listed at 6-8, 190 lbs. Has 3-point range, and his mid-range game is solid at the college level." ESPN: Nikola Topić, G, KK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia) "His size and playmaking ability ultimately help set him apart, but with his eventual return date likely in late March or early April, teams also will hope to have opportunities to learn more about him in the pre-draft process." Bleacher Report: Nikola Topić, G, KK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia) No. 5 overall (projected to the Portland Trail Blazers) USA Today: Matas Buzelis, F, G League Ignite "Good leaping ability, surprises with his dunks, soft shooting touch, plays through contact." ESPN: Donovan Clingan, C, UConn "Clingan is hitting his stride at the right time for UConn, moving better and looking more like the dominant interior presence on both ends of the floor that NBA teams expected to see from the sophomore before his slew of injuries." Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted March 28 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 28 10. Atlanta Hawks: Cody Williams Previous Mock Draft Spot: No. 5 Team: Colorado Position: SF/PF Size: 6'9", 190 lbs Age/Year: 19, Freshman Nationality: American Pro Comparison: Jaden McDaniels Cody Williams finished the year on a high note in a loss to Marquette, looking more aggressive with drives, hitting a three and delivering some impressive defensive sequences. He's still clearly on the raw side, lacking polish off the dribble, showing no real pull-up game and averaging just 1.7 three-point attempts per game. But he'll remain a top-10 candidate, with the likelihood that one team covets a big, two-way wing archetype and can afford to wait on his creation and shot developing. Even if the team that drafts him doesn't have time to wait, Williams would still have something to offer as a 6'9" driver, off-ball play-finisher and wing stopper who generally plays the right way. 21. Atlanta Hawks (via Kings): Yves Missi Previous mock draft spot: No. 21 School: Baylor Nationality: Cameroon Position: C Size: 7'0", 235 lbs Age: 19 Pro comparison: Mark Williams A quiet game in a loss to Clemson capped off a productive season of 63 dunks, interior defense and occasional face-up drives. Teams interested in adding another easy-basket target and shot-blocker will have to assess Missi versus Zach Edey, who's far more productive and skilled, but also older and less athletic/mobile. Missi's 61.6 free-throw percentage and 13 total assists are worth thinking about, but given his tools, foot speed, coordination and leaping, it's also easy to picture his finishing, switchability and rim protection carrying over. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10114308-2024-nba-mock-draft-full-2-round-predictions-ahead-of-sweet-
