I've been watching the 2024 NBA Draft class and it's been... weaker than usual

The best thing about Sarr offensively right now is that walking in, he can probably take most centers off the dribble to the basket.

i believe the shooting and playmaking is a work in progress however. Yes  he’s capable but like you stated he needs polishing there.

How many centers will go out to guard him? None

How many centers will just bully him? All

How many centers can he legit deal consistent contact from? None

Ya'll keep trying to make this work in your head but the reality is way harder.

I tried to tell Caitlin Clark fans that the WNBA perimeter defenders are levels better than college ball and every perimeter player has struggled to adjust out of college. But they had it in their mind that every WNBA defend was Hailey Van Lith with a tan.

The NBA is HARD.

Might as well get used to it.  This is the new breed of center in the NBA.  The days of the slow plodder are dead.

Yep.. if you think about it.. those past four draftees is who you will be up against in the playoffs

Yep.  Then you consider that with the Grizzlies getting healthy, you have to deal with JJJ and you still have to deal with Giannis.  Looking ahead, this is what’s coming into the league.

Some folks would rather harp on his screen setting.  As if that's not something that can be learned in like 2 practices.

It's ok.  King01 has already ID'd the compromise to keep peace over the land.  We'll pick up Hunter Dickerson as an UDFA to satisfy the folks yearning for a dominant college big.

The king-eth hath spoken-eth...

No worries, Spud.  I was 6'3" in my youth and now I'm barely 6'2" but I've gained about 30 pounds.

The older you get, the more you shrink.  It's just nature working on you.  Don't worry.  Be happy!

What’s up with Bronny besides making me feel old as dirt?  I’ve never seen him play but his passing and defensive IQ better be off the damn charts.  Its so weird seeing him listed at 6’4” 210 like bruh we literally watched you grow from a baby to a large ass mfer.

The Kings met with several players during last week’s NBA draft combine in Chicago, a league source told The Sacramento Bee, confirming a report from Fox 40’s Sean Cunningham. The list of players who met with Kings representatives included Alex Sarr, Donovan Clingan, Dalton Knecht, Ja’Kobe Walter, Cody Williams and Sacramento native Jared McCain.

All first year basketball players grow a few inches in the off season, and all first year football players put on 15 lbs of muscle in the off-season. Unless they are complete busts, in which case they didn't grow or put on muscle.
