None of these Trae trades really make sense for us. If we are going to move Trae, it needs to be for concentrated talent back, but better fit for both teams. Or you would want back really high potential young guys. I honestly can't think of any trades that make a ton of sense off the top of my head. Moving Dre is interesting and it seems like we might be moving on from him, but this one is kind of weird and the salaries don't match. Nobody wants Dre contract IMO He's the new JC.. lol And its hard to get equal value moving Trae.. If we trade Trae, I want to trade Murray too tbh.. Trae is hard to build around IMO, but we ain't winning anything signifigant with Murray leading the show either... I don't think we'd build "around" Murray but instead try to fill out a complete, competitive, roster, and see who emerges as a star player (maybe JJ, maybe Sarr, etc). Trae eats up so much usage right now it's tough to see how some of these guys would handle more time with the ball. They'd have to give up Dort too to match salary, and that ain't happening.. lol Unless they're throwing in Cason Wallace, Kendrich Williams, and Josh Giddey.... Given how the playoffs went for OKC, I think they would move Giddey in a deal for Hunter. His shooting would be beneficial to them.
