2/12 are above average picks IMO

Only Trae and JJ. I’ve been disappointed by the rest.

Agreed! I haven’t trusted their scouting/draft decision making since they traded Luka (Trae was my #2 on my big board though), traded for Hunter, didn’t draft Haliburton (regardless of his feelings), didn’t draft Tari Eason, and didn’t trade up for Lively II. JJ was a top 5 talent that draft that fell into our lap (a can’t miss). JC was the only other lottery/top 10 talent that fell in our lap that I liked.

I agree with all this.

AJ Griffin and Bufkin fell to us as well. Jury is still way out on that.

What about Isaac Okoro? Shot 39% on three (on low volume though) last year and is a solid defender. Also an Atlanta native. Shouldn't break the bank either.

If we aren’t drafting Risacher and keeping Hunter, I think he would be a good target.

What do you consider as not breaking the bank?

He has an $11.8 mil QO. (MLE IS $12.9 mil)

I was trying to find what was the Cavs offer that he turned down last offseason. Couldn't find it.

Saw this snippet:

With how well Okoro has played in a contract year, Scotto shares that Okoro could make upward of $14 million annually on his next contract, which is more than the full non-taxpayer mid-level exception.

I figured around 10 to 12 per.
