Does no one here care about the long term? Sarr is the perfect front court partner for OO. Let JJ start at SF. Trade for a POA defender at SG. Can someone explain to me how the hell getting the #1 pick is a bad thing? You guys wanted to pick 10th instead? Like what? lmao. I explained it for ya. And if the best thing about a guy is he's the perfect fit next to a guy we're probably gonna trade ... well ....

ShooterSays
What's the consensus on JJ at the 3? Saw some flashes of him guarding DeRozan, but inconsistent to say the least. Is it something he could improve? Or is the footwork just not there? JJ / Sarr / OO in the frontcourt DJM, Hunter, Cap on the block to upgrade the 2

No one from this draft is going to turn a franchises tide as a rookie but some may prove to be very valuable pieces. Sarr has a chance, but the Hawks and their fans will need to be patient because he strikes me as a guy who will need two years of development at the least. All fair ... but also support my issue(s). NBASupes
JJ as a 3 is a disaster. OO and Sarr is way too small of a front court with Trae. Clingan is the only one that makes sense.
KB21
You have to be big and slow to be a center according to some.

There isn’t much difference between the two positions in Quin’s system. Quin will love the capability to mix and match.

Ressler wants to keep the pick and not trade it since it is the first ever Hawks #1 lottery pick. 4 9

The best thing about Sarr is he is 7'1", athletic, has great defensive instincts, and he can shoot -- he's the archetype of big that every single in the team would kill for. 6

Look into the past and save future supes from more embarrassment. You keep saying Clingan is the fit with Trae..... you know Trae has speed and likes to run the floor right? You know Trae likes spacing right? Clingan don't do those things like Sarr. Also, Cam Reddish is not Randy Moss.

KB21
Clingan is OK. Ultimately, he’s too slow footed to be an elite defender. He will be great as a drop defender, but he doesn’t move well enough to switch, stunt, or hedge. He’s better than Edey, but he’s not a mover like Wemby/Holmgren. Sarr is.
