I'm not seeing how Sarr is more of a project than Clingan.  Clingan can block some shots but needs to work on pretty much everything else.  At least Sarr is already handling the ball and shooting in games.

That's super risky.  So then we draft the Spurs guy with the hopes that Clingan would be there.  What if he's not and we get stuck with Risacher?  Teams will know that we intend to take Clingan at 4 which means teams who like Clingan will try to trade up to #3 and we miss out on all our guys.

Don't like it.  I want Sarr #1, but if we are doing SA another favor they better throw at LEAST one of our future picks back in addition to 4 and 8, and drop the pick swap in 26.

This has more to do with there being no consensus best prospect this year.  For Clingan specifically, you would expect 2 of the 3 top picks to be Sarr and Risacher.  That only leaves one other player to go ahead of him for him to be there.

As of today, if we go down this path I'll be rooting for someone to take Clingan at 3 and disrupt our trade so we keep Sarr.

And there's little to no chance of getting both Clingan and Risacher at 4 and 8 assuming that's what they are thinking.
