The Spurs being desperate for Risacher makes a ton of sense.

I have to admit.  The more I watch, the more I'm becoming intrigued.

I'm intrigued. But not at one. Sarr all day for me until we draft and they select Clingan. Sigh

He better be money at the rim if he's shooting ~50% from the FT line. It's going to be hard to keep him on the floor in tight games if he doesn't improve that percentage. Teams will foul him on purpose during crunch time.

I don't disagree at all, but having him and OO in a rotation will at least provide stability there. It's not like Cap is any better either, so if  we're potentially getting a younger, taller, better defensive player (at this point) than it's pretty good.

I would rather take Sarr though. But if we do end up taking Clingan at 1 or trading back, I will be rooting for Sarr to bust so we don't have to hear about another Hawks draft fail for 20+ years.

He looks like a baby giraffe on roller skates.  Or big bird.

This is not good for Trae as a primary play.  We need a second scorer sometimes like KH in game 7 vs the Sixers.

I think Capela should probably be moved but to think that Clingan will be as a good of a defender even as current Clint is wishful thinking I think..  Certainly not in the first couple years unless you're only counting defense at the rim.  Clingan won't stand a chance against guys like Giannis where at least Clint can hold his own.   That's my uneducated opinion.

Are we not working out Sarr?

I'm sure we are.  Our insiders claim he has already worked out once and will again but that Atlanta is trying to keep everything off the radar.
