Regardless of what any of the other draft picks do in the future, I believe in the player that the Atlanta Hawks selected!!

Nothing new per se, but it just gives a behind the scenes look at the Hawks thought process throughout the the draft process.

Putting on my fan hat, it makes sense when you are getting more draft capital and less on court talent back for DM to draft someone you can feel sure will be positively contributing from day 1.  I am excited about having some bigger wings with capable defensive skills.  If he holds the shooting he had last year, ZR has real upside.

Because I can already hear the conversation, I'll say this again for the record and before the season starts...

Risacher was one of 4 players I liked in this draft behind Sarr, Sheppard, and Knecht.  I didn't have enough on ZR to get a good read, but I think the scouts have undersold him and he's better than advertised.    I do not see a failed draft because we didn't get the player I wanted.  I would have gambled on Sarr's potential, but honestly in this draft he and Risacher were both solid #1 picks.

I have no idea who is going to have the better career.  We have very little NBA data on either player, but Risacher's cns and defensive potential on this team gives him a very strong head start.

He may get any taller, but we're told that he's added about 15 pounds of muscles this summer!  He's still a growing teen-ager.

Always knew this about Dre, its why I was so excited abt his upside years ago.  Unfortunately,  he plays like he cant wait to clock out for the day

I’m rooting for the guy in a Hawks jersey. That’s all I care about. Best of luck to the rest, they no longer exist to me.

Well it's the off-season, this is the time when basketball players grow taller, so 7 feet is almost assured.
