Can't combine players that you just acquired in a trade in a subsequent transaction for a couple months. Capella and Nance was the proposal floating around and we just got Nance. We would've needed to expand to a three team trade to do it in one transaction.

Most likely 2 unguaranteed years and he'll get a buy out for this year.

I'd bet anything that they will be dumping Clint at some point.  May trade Nance as well.  There's no way they are going with 4 centers, let alone 5.  Something has to give.

That is a disingenuous statement. The Hawks were able to take advantage of NO’s salary issues and were able to extract another former high lottery pick from the Pels. Hawks now have an actual 7’ footer on the roster who the Hawks development team can surely unlock. Pretty exciting development and a huge feather in Landry’s cap. Real nifty bit of work.
