I'm not sure he's even going to be on the roster.  There's no "get" with him.  He's washed and should be sent out to pasture.

If we want Ayton there is still a pathway to get him without including Nance/Zeller.

Speaking of, we are likely not keeping Bruno without a buyout of Zeller first.

I’m feeling pretty bullish on a core 4 of Trae/Dyson/Risacher/JJ …. 3 years from now. But next year, we have the potential to be pretty bad.

Just feels like we need 1 more move going into next season.

Completely random and not an indicator of anything whatsoever but I went to the Ja Morant return game in New Orleans earlier this year. A friend of mine was given a suite and court side for pregame warmups and Zeller was bombing 3’s with consistency. Some of the people in our group didn’t know who he was and asked why that coach was wearing warmup gear and shooting 3’s with the team.

Absolutely.. I'm bullish on those 4 as well.

Wishful thinking about Dre and Capela being sent away for value before they have another meh season.

The implication here is that Portland would want Saddiq and vice versa, right?  Or would this just be a 1 year deal to make the transaction go through and then all could part ways (since Saddiq isn't likely to play this year anyway).

Yes, theyd have to want him and he'd have to want to go there.

If it's a SnT, so it has to be for at least 3 years. A first year guarantee, then the remaining 2 years can be partial or full or non guarantees with specified dates and/or Team options.

Capela and Bruno should be the next two dominoes to fall. Heard up to 5 teams have talked to the Hawks about Capela and if a deal happens soon what happens to Bruno and or Zeller should soon follow

We should have been paid extra to take him but instead we give up extra protection on an already protected pick.  Bless Landry’s heart.

And yet we coughed up the astronomically small chance at a big return.  Only the Hawks would do this.

Well the good news is, the $23 mil JCE TPE has been exhausted or close to it.

Nance $11.2 + Dyson $6.0 + Lydell $2.1 = $19.3 mil. That leaves $3.7 million. (Depending in the Zeller amount).

Better news, we've created another TPE from the DJ trade ~$28 million (if the trade kicker is include, if not ~$25 million). 

So once again, we'll be the holder of the largest TPE in the NBA.

Agreed, why would we let them add protection on the picks?

The only explanation would be that the hold up on the deal was our fault, but that literally makes no sense to me.
